Im sorry for this question, but I just really hate my boss because he power trips and picks on everyone that works under him.

write an anonymous letter to his boss, to corporate too without giving notice that its you. I would stress that his negativity spreads to all the employees on a daily basis and you do not feel he is exercising professional proactive management skills.
the way the co" would like you to do it is
talk to the boss him self if that isnt effective talk to HR then talk to corporate oh and fyi no resolution there then report the companies lack of interest in employees regards to the BBB. then they will really get on it.
Maybe other employees have complained so you have to spk up but start with how much you enjoy your job/ career and how you are trying to grow with in the company and learn all you need to learn but he is making this difficult. (always start with the possitive when you are making a complaint.

Although I don't like my boss, I always remember him as a motivator to me. If not because of him, the HQ admin would have put me into the "black-list".
there was this "office manager" woman who is no longer there...the boss took notice of some of the things I pointed out, but it wasn't just those things that got her fired
I tired. he was a Dr. asking me to write thank you letters to the drug companies (nice bribe!) A few days after I squealed my job was posted on the job boards. I hope they didn't blacklist me....its hard for me to find a job
yes, have gotten THREE bosses fired/demoted. two in the military, and one in civilian life. all three were obviously bad, and i was just the catalyst to getting them out the door. they would probably have been canned without my help, but i helped speed up the process.

2 of them. Both were biker types (not that I have a problem with that type) and the arrogance was astounding. First one stole an idea and claimed it as his. I proved him wrong in the middle of a meeting and he was fired on the spot.
2nd one had a personality conflict with me and didn't want to work it out. So, I had to work harder than everyone times 2, set new records and personally was responsible for doubling the biweekly bonus ($455 to $900). When he asked me to leave, I took an exit interview with Human Resources (you have to request this). I took all the proof that I was responsible for the companies present good standing. I still left, but, they gave me a severance pay of $20,000 and fired my Supervisor the next week. What's cool is my ex-boss now works for a company that I am a support staff for. An he is at the bottom level and takes orders from me. Well, he used to, I had him fired again. I don't play nice with those that hurt my career!
