Do you tip the kid who takes your groceries to the car for you?!

Question: How much? Who else do you tip?

Answers: How much? Who else do you tip?

I tip anyone that I know is not making much and is helping me

No, its only a short walk...doesn't deserve anything for it, shouldn't have to pay people for that kind of thing.

yep and if you tip enough they will quit their job and get in the car with you

i do it myself

I tip everybody, according to what I have in my pockets.

i don't, but i know some people who do

yes, where i live, they get paid very little, & they appreciate anything u give them

I take my own groceries out to the car, I don't need somebody to help me

the stores stopped taking our grociers to the car along time ago.

yes....they dont get paid otherwise so why not give them a little somethin

Only around Christmas time, after all it is his job.

depending on the amount of groceries and how far away my car is, i give like $2-$3 as long as he's nice and not an annoying rude brat

yes even though the store doesn't allow it...it depends on how many bags i have.

Of course...I give $1. They do deserve it, you could be carrying your bags yourself.

Yes, I have a lot of bags, $2.00.
I tip my hairdresser
I tip the waitress/waiter
I tip the cab driver

**** no. That's his job. Kids have to learn that life isn't about handouts.

Of course.....Like "grandma used to say"..." Look both ways before crossing the street "......

I do it myself but I would always give a tip for the help if needed.

noo my dad does

yes a buck

Yes, I do. Usually a US Dollar. I also tip the Pet Store man who loads the 40 pound bags into my car trunk. He also gets a US Dollar.

I waited tables and bartended to pay for my bachelor's and master's degrees. So I tend to tip.

Though I don't tip at places like Dunkin' Donuts or coffeeshops with the little Styrofoam cup with ball-point pen writing on it.

We do tend to expect tips for just doing our job.

But if the kid carries my groceries, sure.

I tip between $1-5, depending on the amount of crap I have.

we dont have people to do that here, but sometimes there are kids that will pack your groceries for you, because they are raising money for their local sports club. i always give them money. 3 or 4 euros mostly

never. they aren't allowed to receive tips here. i have groceries delivered as well. they are also not allowed to take tips. it's figured in the delivery, i think. i tip my waitress, sushi chef, hairdresser, pizza guy, cab driver, piano man, maitre'd, babysitter, gardener, ............i can't think of any other. i would tip at starbucks if they would serve me at my table. i think a tip jar at the drive through is tacky. i won't be bullied out of a tip.

You are supposed to tip for ANY service that someone does for you, waiting table, cutting hair, carrying groceries included. I take my own groceries out though.

The kids where I shop are not very friendly at all, and they never offer to take them out for me. I guess they don't know that they are missing out on some extra cash. I would tip them a buck or two if they would ever do it.

Oh! As for who else I tip, waiters/waitresses and the pizza guy are the only ones I can think of right now. My beautician too.

i was that kid i never got tipped except by aunt marie

I take my own groceries, but I tip our waitresses, barber/beautician, sometimes our mechanic, paper boy.

No. Have to carry my own groceries. Don't do that much around here anymore. I usually tip at restaurants or if someone helps me move. My grandmother tips grocery guys, gas attendants, almost anyone that helps her. She usually gives them the change. $1 or $2 bucks. More at restaurants 15%.
?D

no i do it myself. My family tips the waiter
