Do other fruits accept the tomato or is there ugliness?!

Question: I think the tomato has a hard time being accepted as a fruit. He's been a vegetable for so long. The other fruits struggle with the tomato's switching of categories. They do not wish to shun him but it's a difficult thing to accept. These things take time.

ugliness is everywhere

probabaly ugliness.

u dont put tomatoes in fruit salad!!!

There is actually a lot of hate crime against the tomato. I once saw two bananas jump a tomato just because of him being a tomato.

even the fruits have their own drama

I think so. The tomato may be viewed as the "cross-over" fruit into the veggie world.

I did my doctoral dissertation at Yale on the social inequities of various fringe fruit groups.

As it turns out, not all fruit have disdain for the tomato. Over the years, the Kiwi and the Mango have developed a strong communal relationship with the Tomato. Of course this has caused great tension in the fruit world. There have been many wars fought, and lives lost. The last great fruit war ended in 1983 when Ronald Regan intervened on behalf of the Tomato.

As of now, in modern times, the Tomato enjoys the same rights and privileges of other, more accepted fruits.

Legend tells of a great battle between the Fruits and Vegetables of old. The Artichoke King was clever, and decided to hire a spy. A noble warrior who could be considered a Fruit, who was fearless and the color of blood-stained skies. The Tomato did the Artichoke King's bidding, and crossed the boarder between the Shelves. It was a dangerous journey and a difficult feat, but the Fruits did finally accept him into their world and show them their culture. They grew to trust the Tomato, to share more and more knowledge with him -- but while none knew of the Tomato's secret, the Coconut Queen was no fool. She too was crafty, appointing the Tomato to a high position and granting him a single, grueling task: To go back to the Vegetables, and spy in the fruit's favor. It was thus that the Tomato became a double agent, sending information back and forth between the two.

However, after a long period of time and several violent battles, the Tomato was discovered and exposed as a traitor to both sides. He was shunned from the Vegetables, and shunned from the Fruits, exiled into uncertainty.

Since then, tomatos have never been accepted back into either category without resistance.
