Why do people seem to take drastic measures?!
Question: to keep from having to admit that they were wrong?
My boyfriend seems to do this,he gets drunk, calls me after two weeks of not talking and then makes up a lie that his mother is sick,then starts to cry. I indeed know this was a LIE,along with his exscuse of going to jail... and then copping out by acting totally devastated... why is it people do this?

Don't trust a boy that cries. He probably does things to himself in private.
Males may be seen crying on hearing about a death or when attending a funeral, that's acceptable behaviour

It's human nature.
We try to place the blame elsewhere, to protect our own reputation. When people are placed under pressure, lying is the first thing that comes to mind, if you haven't "mastered" yourself yet.
