Do you think honesty?!

Question: can sometimes send people over the edge?

Would you still confront someone if they were in denial and tell them directly the truth?

Yes. Close attention to the state someone's in, as well as tact and wisdom are great companions for honesty. Considering timeliness, appropriateness, and tone of voice are more likely to get the listening ear of someone in denial when we want to be honest with them.

yes I think so

no

I think honesty is valuable to most people.

It's the way an honest comment is shared that matters.

Some people are deliberately spiteful and share honest comments with the intention of hurting others. (We've all experienced this) Other people offer honest comments to help a person move forward. (In this case people can take honesty)

So it's in the style of delivery - not content.

that would depend on a few factor's if it was going to benefit the person because they were so in denial you bet your sweet *** i would .but if it was going to send them over the edge i would make shore i had some support with me and a back up plan.so there are a few thinks to consider :-)

i wouldn't just be bluntly honest if I thought it would not be good for the person to hear

honesty is good but you have to have tact aswell....
