Answers: Depends. The verb or the adjective?

not to me any way

It sounds pretty funny to me, which means it must be offensive somehow. ;)

not tht i noe of

I don't find that offensive at all.

to me no,
to others, mainly those who consider themselves 'peasants',
probably.

It's only offensive to the Peasants. You just called them Revolting, who wants to be told they are Revolting?

not unless you are the king or queen

Nah, us peasants like a good revolt now and again!!! x

i don,t know..i,ve never tasted one

It may be offensive to be compared to a peasant.
A peasant, derived from 15th century French pa?sant meaning one from the pays, the countryside or region, which itself derives from the Latin pagus, country district, is an agricultural worker with roots in the countryside in which he or she dwells, either working for others or, more specifically, owning or renting and working by his or her own labour a small plot of ground. The term peasant today is sometimes used in a pejorative sense for impoverished farmers.

No it is a simple statement about another time, we don't have peasants anymore.

Why, why? I thought the peasants were just being natural.

It can be..
To people who dont class themselves as Peasants when others do..

& if they use the word Revolting in the wrong way...as in disgusting..Lol

no.it makes me laugh.

They always have been !

I'm sure peasants can't read anyway so screw them!

Now that's offencive. xx

Doesn't affect me one bit..

No because in our neck of the woods they are. they march round the village in their Citroen Saxo / Ford Fiestas screaming that horrendous speed garage from their stereos and basically looking horrible. They also have horrible curly accents. LOL I hate the Surrey chavs with their "Diamond White" girlfriends that gobble them at Woking bus garage. Ughhh you are not being offensive when you say the Peasants are revolting. However if you mean they are trying to wrestle my family's hard earned property from them in some kind of Socialist manner then I think the best thing to do is shoot the lot of them.

why? is there and uprising to knock someone out of power?

not really

No, not to me, at least.

not to me but I'm sure your offending someone

the partridges are revolving

It depends on which play on the word "revolting" you are using.

In the context of Rebelion, no.
In the context of Disgusting, yes.

Wish they would bread prices are FAR too dear.

Why should it~~~~ Raise Eyebrows in our Overly corrected Institutionalization of a Life~.... Honesty and Well Meaning always betray themselves by <saying everything in the meaning of Universal Love towards One Self, as The Other> even though the combination of the words is on a shortlist of Mental Luggage, there will be Situations given the Time and Place, that supersede even Al Gore′s bad attempt at Humor.
