How come I can't find any dekky's for...?!
Question: Thanksgiving? I mean, it's such a big thing here in the States and yet, there's not one iota of decorations to be found anywhere. Why is that? Don't people decorate just like Halloween, etc?

You should try living in the state of Insanity, also known as Illinois. LOL We have all sorts of Thanksgiving decorations here, babe.

If you're an aussie, why would you be celebrating thanksgiving? Doesn't mean anything to the aussies. Its an american thing
Unfortunately holidays have become so commercialized in the USA that dekky's are reserved at the moment anyway only for those holidays which are truly money makers for the vendors. I grew up making dekky's for all holidays. But then again we made them ourselves and it cost so little but was such a great joy to show up dressed like a Pilgrim or turkey. It was a conversation starter at worst. Plus one became the "talk of the party or town". (sigh) those were the really fine days in America.
