Why is going in to work harder on a Monday?!

Because you have just had two days off and your body / mind has started to get used to the leisure and the slower more relaxed pace so it is hard to adapt to the rush and stress of work.
The worst for me is coming back after a couple weeks off, that is a nightmare.
i think its because its the start to a LONG week.. but i believe this thinking only effects people who dont like there jobs
and also its because people tend to party during the whole weekend, from fri night thru to sun night and so feel hang over and tierd.
It is harder for me on Wednesday because that is the start of my working week so Monday and Tuesday are my 'weekend' when the kids are in school/work. Oh well someone has to work Mondays - keep up the good work!
