Why do people "duck their heads" when it's raining?!
Question: That way it takes slightly longer for the rain to reach their heads.
Answers: That way it takes slightly longer for the rain to reach their heads.
everybody knows ducks love rain
so they are trying to enjoy it
Because if you tip your head you fill your ears with water.
LOL. I used to do that and now I just use my umbrella or grin and bear it/
lol, good point actually!
i do it as well
hell we do don't we lol dunno buddy, maybe to keep the rain outta our eyes
i thought they usually ducked their heads when someone says duck
So they won't mess up their new $300 hair cut.
Its better than 'swanning' off to the pub.
Cos I was going to have a 'flutter' down the bookies
Thats a cheep shot!
the first answerer had it right, but I'll corollarize it:
Since water rolls off ducks' backs, we're hoping
by osmossifying ducks' behavior, any water
which falls upon us will, ipso facto, roll off.
Not to be confused with,
"Roll Offffff--roll off for the mystery tour!"
Instinctivly "seeking shelter"
its a force of hait...i love the rain though...i take as long as i want walking in it and i makesure i keep my head up so i ge drenched :)
....pure craziness.....i mean it's water for crying out loud.....it's not gonna kill ya....
They're practicing for the role of Quasimodo in the upcoming remake.
