Have you ever had one of those Thanksgiving awkward moments at the table when...!

Question: ...half the people at the table are "Unbelieving Gentile Heathen Drunken Infidels" who just want to dig in, and the other half are "Do-Gooder Ice-Tea Believers" who want everybody to hold hands and pray?

no, but last year my stupid brothers made me cry in the table!

nOPE..

ahh yes!!! thats my thanksgiving everyyear lol happy thanksgiving to ya!

why would that be awkward? it's just the usual friends and family thanksgiving dinner

Yes.

Ooooh, that's what I'm going to be up against tonight. Don't want to not pray and offend those that do and don't want the others to start laughing in the middle of a prayer. What to do ...what to do

watch out lips look out gums haha thats me..i can be like a cavewomen when it comes to dinner. " eat good"

Yes...I once had an aunt (sweetest woman in the world, God rest her soul) who always said grace before our Thanksgiving dinner.....and it was usually longer than John F. Kennedy's famous inauguration speech.

One year, as her prayer dragged on, at each pause, my uncle (her husband), would say "Amen," but then she would go on again. After about the fourth time this happened, she paused, and he said "Amen, Doris, for Christ's sake, Doris, AMEN!!!"

We all immediately cracked up....even my aunt.

Give in and just say thanks...it's what the day is all about.
