Actually, one time I had someone ASK me for socks for Christmas. My mother wanted a good, thick, fuzzy pair of socks because her feet got cold and our floors were tile. She knew it would not occur to me to buy socks on my own.

I just bought a three-pack of warm socks for myself at K-Mart because the weather's starting to get crappy, but I haven't actually opened them yet, and there's plenty of people I can think of that I could give them to, but why waste three perfectly good pairs of socks, when I can get a good season's use out of them, not that I'm saying that I can't stand myself, or have any problem keeping them, or giving them to someone I don't particularly like, but then again, perhaps there is someone who really needs them, because this IS the time of year to GIVE, especially those in genuine need..........What was the original question, anyways?
