Do you slow down at yellow lights or speed through them?!

Question: lol. speed through them, depends if it's a long light, if it's an intersection and no cops around.

Answers: lol. speed through them, depends if it's a long light, if it's an intersection and no cops around.

depends, i do both

depends on if I am running late

if it's unsafe to break i keep going. but usually im a good girl and stop.

speed through them.
duh.
who doesn't?

It has always been my understanding that you can proceed through them if it is safe to do so. You should however be prepared to stop if need be.

Green says go
Yellow says go faster.
Red says stop

I slow down

If I think I can cross the lights, then I speed up, but otherwise, its better to slow down.

speed through them

That depends greatly on when the light turns.......sometimes you can't slow down.

What are you waiting for, speed through!!

my frinds 16 yr old daughter just got license and tonight we were talking about how a lot of ppl don't come to a FULL stop at a Stop sign

SLOW DOWN AND STOP IF NEEDED READ DRIVERS MAUAL

depends on if I can clear the intersection or not.. or if I cannot possibly stop in time!

Depends, I do both

Both...I slow down when I feel like obeying the law and I speed up when I feel like breaking it! LoL...

put me foot down, if i run the red stuff it

actually, i speed through them... c'mon i mean with all that waiting, you're just gonna be stopped? so, i try to run as fast as i can (without getting others killed of course...)

I'd say..speed through!!

definitely slow down! illuminates accidents

go thou is im late
1000% wait if i got time!

yellow lights tells you that the red light meaning stop is comming up to be ready to stop ,i always slow down to stop at a yellow light they are thier to saves lives, speeding kills

pedal faster

depends on the situation. Hmm actually i dont drive! my husband did it=)

On the whole, I agree with jojamm.

Yellow lights are like a *red* flag to a bull.

Yellow lights mean "the lights are about to change, so you better get your socks on".

If you miss the lights, it's like the scene in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey where Keanu Reeves, as Evil Ted, is saying "Aim for the cat, dude, aim for the cat!" and after landing he exclaims "Ahhh, just missed!".

If you miss the lights, you have in effect lost the race, but as racing and time trials are forbidden, it would be better to say "if you miss the lights, you don't get the prize", the prize being not having to wait at a red light.

It depends on what time of day it is, who is watching, how im feeling and if that little yellow light is beckoning me or not......

I have to say learn my lesson just had to pay a £60 fine for speeding so from now on will have to be careful have 6 points on my license.

I slow down through yellow lights and take a decesion depending on the traffic situation at that moment. But , let me share an experience with YAHOO friends. One day , driving through a busy street in my country, I ran through RED lights and knowing fully well that the next traffic warden would stop me for a fine., I just stopped by the warden before they made an attempt to stop me and asked them the way to a popular market which I know very well. But because of the sudden way I stopped to ask for the way , the corps were confused and simply dirrected me to the way and I drove off sharply before they realised the traffic blunder I had already committed. That was how I escaped being fined.Mark you, this does not give you the right to do the same because you might not be so lucky like me. Respect the rules and regulation of the land. please.

I'm a careful driver. I slow down. To date, I haven't got a speeding fine and I'm 35.
