People have a need to elevate themselves in their own eyes because of insecurities and fear. The easiest and quickest way to do that is to judge someone else. Because if you think of someone else as being in the wrong, well you are automatically right. It's pretty brutal really. People should spend a lot more time looking inside and they would like the world around them more. Self discovery is a powerful thing.
I guess it's just human nature.
Maybe some are afraid of difference or change.
because most if not all of us find it easier to judge than to be judged upon....

People are insecure about themselves, and feel the need to judge otherrs, rather than face their own problems!!
I believe that we are more comfortable when we have assigned a person to a "slot" in our minds.
Then we think we know the right way to "handle" our interactions with that person.
because we don't want to see the truth in our own lives.

I try not to.I give everyone a chance to prove who they are.
I try not to judge until I know the person well enough to know their circumstance, but sometimes I cannot help it.
I guess sometimes we are only human.
I guess many people prefer to judge people instead of getting to know them first. If you judge someone, there won't be time for liking them !!

I can only speak for myself, but it is because I am a complete idiot.
because we fear turning the critical eye on ourselves...
why are you judging me as someone who is quick to judge, mr misjudgement?
I think this is the problem of biased, narrow minded people.
I think people who do that are jealous and ignorant.
I try really hard not to - but don't always succeed, even though, on the occasions when I have judged someone, I was inevitably proved wrong.
It's a smug way of saying "thank f*** it's not me"
for some reason people tend to look at the mistakes that others make but they don't want to look at themselves, maybe they are in denial or they really can't see what they do wrong, i guess it's just easier sometimes to place the judgment on others and not own up to our own mistakes.
I don't really know why....I try my best not to, but occassionally you get that one person.......well, anyways, I try not to do it! :)
Because it's natural for mankind to take short cuts, and when we judge others, what we are actually doing is getting to know someone quicker without spending lots of time to get to know someone deeper.
