I like the holidays...its a time for family, peace, relaxation, no school...
I find the holidays exhausting. I'd like to go hide out somewhere until they're over.
My friend sometimes jokes calling me a Scrooge, and I reply with "bah-hambug" only cause I don't have a Christmas tree or do presents and I don't celebrate Easter either like most of the world does. So, you're not the only one.
I haven't really enjoyed them for years.

Ehh somewhat, I hate the idea of it getting cold, having to put uup decorations and worrying about buying presents in time.
But then I love the idea of being inside on a cold snowy day drinking hot chocolate. =)
Holidays can be a royal pain. I come from a divorced family... so there's the issue of splitting time between them... jealousy, etc.... Then of course there's the financial aspect... purchasing gifts, etc... I wouldn't say that makes you a scrooge... I'd say it makes you someone who doesn't want to deal with the pressures of it. Lots of people out there like that!
I always hated Christmas time in the past, but for some reason this year I havn't been able to stop listening to Christmas music and I am really excited for the season. It's weird, like I said. I used to hate Christmas, so I don't know what happened...

Yeah, me. I like hanging out with family, but I do that all year long.
The niceness of everyone else that's only this time of year and the endless Christmas songs played by every single radio station, plus all of the consumerism... gak! It's so cheerily fake...
But, then again, I don't mind being called a Scrooge & the Grinch is my favorite holiday character...
