Honestly, are you on yahoo answers just cause its entertaining.?!


Question: Everybody knows how easy it is to find the right answer just by a simple search on Yahoo or Google or other search ensign. Everybody comes here to Yahoo Answers because even tho they might get the wrong answer, it is a lot funner then trying to search for something on a search engine.

You're partially right -- a lot of times I need answers figuring out something I just Google it. Usually it's dumb stuff like the movies Steve Gutenberg's been in. Some questions though aren't as Google-able. You'll find a large amount of info (and a lot of opinion or mis-info) that you'll have to sift through to get your answer. Or, you don't know how to phrase the question to find the answer. that's when yahoo answers can be helpful, pointing you in the right direction.
You are right though, it is entertaining too. I enjoy trying to honestly answer people's ??'s when i think they're worthy ??'s --it's entertaining and helpful. As for the unworthy "shoulda been googled" questions --they're the ones that i don't answer.
it's sort of like a give and take stuff.
you give people the answer they need to a certain problem, and in return you will get answers you need for your answers from other people.

    • I come because I'm bored and I quit going out (drinking). Also some of the answer are quite FUNNY
    I'm here because I'm to lazy to go to bed. And being to lazy to sleep is pretty damn lazy.
    not exactly entertaining but also v get to know many of them here..
    im on here becuase im bored and currently looking for something to do.
    I don't even ask questions on here. This is purely a tool for procrastination when all my other options have run out. However I agree, people could easily get most of the answer with little effort just be searching.
    In a sense but there are times when people seek help and are helped.
    I'm here for entertainment and it's surprising, but you can learn a lot reading the answers to other people's questions. Sometimes I feel like a "peeping tom". LOL
    It's fun. Usually I try to help people out. And after I get bored of helping out, I come to the P&S section. :-)

    Yeah. It's entertaining. And it's easy to pass the time when I'm bored. I need to go to sleep but I'm going to stay here for a little while.
    i work nights, 12 hour shifts, and Y/A makes some of t he nights go by faster.

    I'm here because I'm bored. I like to share my thoughts and know about other people thoughts. Sometimes, I got really good answers when I have difficult problems, and mostly people from different background give me good answers.
