What's one cool or funny thing about one of your parents?!

Question: My mother would never walk across a bridge carrying a parcel of any kind. She said the temptation to throw it over the rail was too great. We'd go shopping and I would have to carry her purchases over the bridge between home and the downtown of our city (in the days before malls).

nah, that doesnt work at all.
    Hes in the Air Force
    That count?

My dad is ALWAYS right. About everything :) And hes really funny.

Shes Crazy I mean it. Thats where I get my need to Dance and My singing voice. I love her but yeah she dances every where. But Gawd it doesnt embarrass me at least she's not wallowing in her personal misery and everything.

My dad wasn't around much, so my mom learned to do basic carpentry, plumbing, electric rewiring and the like. She's in her late 70's now...the neighbors often ask her advice or to help with their home maintenance problems.

When I was younger my mother would be such a great listener. I could vent my problems to her for hours on end and she would nod politely and give advice that was...well, it was always quite amazing. I think it was pretty cool that she was not only a mother but she was also a friend.
My dad had many, many cars that were brilliantly painted and he would design the paintjob and such to be put on the car. They always turned out brilliant! I though that was pretty cool --especially when he designed one for my car earlier this year! :D
Sadly I lost both of my parents in a car accident earlier this year :(

    xXo

I think it's cool that now that I am an adult my mom feels comfortable talking to me about men, sex etc. We laugh and giggle even at times about it all. It helps me see her as a woman not just my mom.

My Dad looked like Henry Fonda. Got mistaken for him a few times.

i can talk anything to them

my mom she is so understanding and loves to make me laugh and loves me for me and since I'm a only child. She spoils me. We act like were the same age. Except she hates my kind of music.

My mom dresses so appropriately fashionable, the grandkids copy her style (jackets, hats, scarves, shoes, etc). And she always knows what's going on and is very understanding.
