How many times did you almost set the place on fire?!
Question: Oh, this reminds me of a party at my friend Brooke's house a few years ago. I was sitting at a computer desk and on the top shelf of the desk was a candle and sitting near the candle was a little teddy bear. Apparently the teddy bear somehow got into the candle's flame and it started a pretty big fire on top of the desk. I was so engrossed in my email or whatever I was checking that I did not even notice the fire! I was also drunk, in my defense. Anyway, someone else smelled something burning and came in and noticed it and we finally got it put out, lol, only after a big area on the wall was blackened and the top shelf of the desk ruined. Oopsie. :o)

once...i fell asleep cooking french fries =(
once at college, nearly trapped my best friends in a room by mucking about with candles. it got out of control so some idiot threw water over it, which went up and hit the ceiling! i ran out of the room to smash the fire alarm, which didnt smash, in the meantime, someone else had sensibly covered the fire with a damp towel and put it out.
Never. I'm not an arsonist.
Only once. The electric ignitor in the gas stove went bonkers...Fortunately my husband was smart enough to just unplug the damn thing!
Too many. I worry about when I get old.
