What happnes to answers stuck in tie-breaker?!
Question: Do they sit in some kind of cyber-limbo? Is there a purgatory for them? What happens? Do they remain unresolved forever?? Is there a special place to look up tie-breaker type of questions to vote on? OHHHHH.... I am so distressed, please tell me!!! X0 What will become of them?

Yuppers. They will stay in cyber-limbo until some kind person comes along to vote them into a resolved state.
There are several groups of people who volunteer to vote the ties. You can sort any category's list by date and the oldest undecided questions will come to the top making it easier to vote them.

When theres a tie-breaker it waits until someone votes on the best answer. So the best answer vote is reset. so if you voted once, oyu can vote again.
I've wondered too. I think they might just sit there all lonely waiting for someone to vote on them.
People here on yahoo answers (members) volunteer their time and break the ties which then declares a winner. I do it all the time. You only get 1 point for doing it.
I think they sit in limbo forever. I have had notifications that I have won best answer for a question that was asked months earlier and sat in tiebreaker mode for a long time.
