Keep with all the recommended guidelines as to the format of your resume. The people who try too hard are sometimes the first ones to get thrown out. Just make sure you really sell your points, and provide good detail in your experiences.

giv yourself a clever nickname like bootsy
Spell teh right.
Douse it with perfume !
Use a neutral granite paper, like a grey and matching envelope. Shows you pay attention to the details.
Above all, make sure your spelling and grammar are correct.
And make sure you have the correct contact information. You would be surprised how many folks forget to update a phone number or leave it out totally when they update their resume!

sound very proffesional and you cant really do somehing to stand out a resume b/c some places are really strict about resumes so as long as it looks like a resume i say its all good. but in hte interview you have to be very proffesional and seem as you are really interested in the job and also show them ow much you know about that area of work or position
Have it Federal Expressed directly to a person in charge of taking the resumes and print it out on very nice paper.
Be informal. I know they say it doesn't work. But it does.
Show your character, not your details. Let them know about your educations and stuff like that, but put a bit of yourself in there, perhaps something poetic that they might remember.
They say to be proffesional, but keep it looking professional...make the layout look like just another resume, but make the content personal, and you'll stand out.
