Is it weird that the Yahoo server...?!
Question: will log you out of Yahoo, Yahoo Mail and Y/A if you are in them at the same time and leave one BUT it won't automatically log you into either if you are already in the other ?

No not really. If you sign in on the Yahoo! Home page, it will sign you into all of Yahoo! services.
Ex. If you only sign in on the Yahoo! Answers section, you will prompted to give your password if you go to another service like 360 or mail.

It is, because if I log into any Yahoo service, then I'll logged in all the Yahoo services and the other way around. You should ask help from the Yahoo team.
P.S.: I have the Yahoo toolbar in my browser, by the way. That might make the difference.
