Have you ever spent money and not realized how much you spent or what the heck y!

Question: I was checking my account last night and apparently I spent 103 dollars at Wal-Mart, but I find that hard to believe, all I bought was a little tykes camera for my best friends daughter which was 30, 2 shirst for her at 5 bucks a pop which totals 40, a little bag to put it in which is what 2 bucks...so...thats 42....some pop, some coffee creamer...and I think that is it...there is no way that equals 103 bucks...Should I investigate?

Yes it does seem that money is spent quickly without realizing where it went. But if you have any questions or doubt, you do need to look into it. Do you still have your receipt? The reason I say this, I had went to a convenient store and used my credit card and by looking at my account I realized there were charges there on days I was not at the store or in town. When I looked further into it, the clerk himself had stolen my credit card number and was using it to get himself and his friend fuel and treats. He has done this to 26 other people who never would have know if I had not request to see the signed receipts. Always remember your receipt might not have you card number on it, but the clerks you give them to do. They have to have that information in order to process it further.

dd

I hate when that happens!! I encourage that you DO investigate.

No am always focused

all the time!

look at your receipts. the cashier might have scanned the camera multiple times. double check the receipt and if it doesn't add up, go to customer service and complain.

the day before thanksgiving, i spent 389.00 at walmart and i have no ideal on what

No, only the foolish do this.

yes, especailly when u only use it for a day, then try to get rid of it

yea, 2 weeks ago i spent $280 over the weekend .. .ON NOTHING! I was so pissed.

you should defiantly investigate...they could of rung you up for too much! wal-mart is famous for stuff like that! good luck!! :)

i would...

that happened to me once though...they charged me for things i never bought at target & i was like "wtf?! i never bought this?" ... they took off the charges & i got some money back.

Check out how much TAX you have to pay....

Whoever thumbs-downed has no concept of the person who is going in ONLY adding up in their mind how much each item costs, forgetting they will also have to PAY TAX on it. Adds up if you buy a LOT of things....

its called blackout shopping, you dont remember what you bought or how much you spend...at least thats what I tell my husband

story of my life

All the time when I used plastic. Screw those visa commerials. When you have cash, you always know what you have, what you've spent and you can't go over your self-imposed limit.

Sure you could find the receipt, I've done that before, usually it's my own fault, hardly ever a mistake, unfortunately!

LOL check your reciept! That happens to me all the time. I have no idea where half my money goes

Yea look in to it, but when u go to wal-mart you always spend more than expected.

i bought some crack, got high, and then forgot what i spent my money on

Yes it has happened to me. I hate when it does but it does stay in my head for awhile til i figure it out.
Little things add up.

I would say investigate if thats really all you bought. That happens to me all the time though, money comes and goes without even realizing what i spent it on.

check you receipt! Stuff lik ethta happens to me all the time!

Every time I go shopping, I swear it's only 50 and it totals up to 200 something...

yep, recently we took out a $10,000 loan to remodel my house. Before we knew it, we were broke and didn' have enough to finish the little things.

I would definitely try to trace my tracks if I were you. Loosing track of money is so frustrating. I have to be careful of this after I have a few drinks. Once I went shopping at BCBG after happy hour and I wound up spending $600. That is crazy!! I normally would have only bought one dress if I was sober. But the alcohol made me think that for some reason, I needed 3.

Definitely look into that. You may have accidentally bought something expensive.

This happens to me all the time. It's amazing how fast it all adds up. From now on, when you go shopping, take your calculator with you. Add as you go. You'll be surprised.

Yes and when I sobered up, I woke up next to her with her head laying on my arm. You know how the story ends.

Yes, check it out.

yes they call that paying your kid through college ?

yeah i would be checking on that esspecillay if you have your recipt wal mart is notorius for BS games and now that they have those electronic checks they can screw you out of money even more.if you dont have recipt then i dont really know what you can do

Sounds you should.

I thought that only happened to me.
