Have you ever eaten an expired food?!
Question: Have you ever eaten any food with an expired expiration date?
I bought hot dogs from the grocery store (in September) that were on sale only to find out when I got home that they were expired so I had to exchange them. So ever since then I always check in the store to make sure I don't buy something that has expired.
I have never eaten any expired food. If I did then I didn't know
and I didn't get sick.

I've always checked foods at the store, this started because when it came time to shop for myself I went shopping with my friend's mom, who later became my mother-in-law, and is fanatic about good, fresh, food. Even if I bought food that hadn't yet expired but was on the verge of the expiration date I have a husband, 5 children (age 5 and younger), and most of my friends are guys and they all love to eat so nothing in this house has a chance to expire.

I drank expired soda with some friends. It was expired for 4 years. It wasn't pleasant.

as long as it isn't something like meat or milk you'll be fine! most stuff, like biscuits, doesn't really go off for aaaaaaaages untill after it's expired according to the packet.
of course........when I was single years ago I think everything I ate was expired.
It's no big deal... I just ate salad that expired today and it's fine. Btw I live in georgia too

No. I pay attention, don't want to take any chances. An expiration date doesn't mean the food is bad on that day, supposed to be good for a few days after. Meat you did the right thing.
Yogurt was passed the "pull date" but they claim it's wholesome ten days beyond.

yes i have and the date is the sell by date on meat products and dairy be wary i've had chips and candy bars soaps and other items that expired upto 8 mos with no ill effects but if it dosen't smell good or look god don't eat it
just milk... but that does sound like a terrible experience!!
Yeah, nothing happened to me. But few times, I ate something NOT expired and got diarrhea.
