Why aren't my items selling on ebay?!

Question: My prices are fair and there isn't anything wrong with my listings, they are in the right categories and everything and still people that are selling the same thing for me but for higher prices are getting sells. Check out my listings

I have bought and sold with over 300 transactions on ebay.

First your starting bids are too high, the other items might be selling for that price but people like to bid starting with a lower bid. Your shipping prices are fair, and the only other reason I could think of is because your feedback score is only 2. I would personally buy a few things to get your feedback score up a little. Other than that I only looked at one listing and it looked fine to me.

sorry dont need any of that stuff

A bit childish,.

Maybe people dont want to buy your items. Christmas is around the corner people are spending their money of gifts. There is nothing wrong with your items i would buy them if i needed them but my buffy days are long gone.

theres nothing special about them, its all stuff you could go out and buy at Walmart. and im not sure if the movies were vhs but if so not many people have them anymore

You're selling "A Christmas Story" for $15.00 when I can see it every year on TNT for FREE??? Too expensive. I say, undercut the competition.

I think they're raciest and Sharpton needs to go kick some ebay As s

You don't have a lot of feedback so we don't know if we can trust you. Items like CDs and DVDs are a dime a dozen. There have been more and more scams on eBay, that I don't buy too much from there anymore.

getting "sales" not sells.

Personally I wouldn't buy those because they are old, I suggest getting newer stuff

To be straight up honest with you, those are priced a little high. Nobody is going to pay $20 for "A Christmas Story" when there is probably specials at Target for a new copy at around $10.

On eBay you have to be competetive with prices because just the slightest bit of savings somewhere else will make the buyer look to them instead...

Some of your starting prices seem a bit high to me. Maybe that's the problem. Good luck though - hope your stuff sells!

maybe because you have a feedback score of 2

Mine didn't sell either. I had details listed and Ebay just kept slamming me with fees.

I don't know except that your shipping seems too high for a DVD.

Your starting bids are too high.

Don't set a starting bid at what you would expect the item to sell for. Set it lower (maybe $5 for single disc DVDs and $10-15 for seasons). You'll get more people bidding on your items, which leads to higher prices. Also, don't expect to make significantly more than someone can find an item for on Amazon or at Walmart. Most eBayers are bargain shoppers.

Your shipping prices are reasonable. I would however look into USPS priority mail. It's cheaper than UPS (especially for small items) and you can still offer cheap insurance and get a tracking number to protect yourself. Always offer shipping insurance on items, just make the buyer pay for it. Definitely take pictures of any used items that you have for sale as well. A picture is worth 1000 words.

Good luck.

Well here is what I think...

1. your feedback score is really low. I tend to try to buy only from people who have a higher feedback score unless the item is a real bargain...

2. which brings me to the next point.. your pricing is not that great. Right now I can get a new copy of a christmas story for $21 at deepdiscount.com - includes free shipping and can return it and know it will arrive. Plus with $20 shipped you are looking at being on the higher end of the items being sold on ebay right now.

So, if you want things to move, try listing it lower... you also might try half.com. I list a lot of items there as well...

Give it time and work with it. It depends on your ratings from other customers as well. Once you start getting good reviews, your items could become more popular. People are willing to pay a little more with someone who has better repoor from previous sales. Give it time.
