Yes and no. I am serious when I need to be. But then I roll around with my daughter on the floor and make funny faces and have a ball also. I think one cannot be serious or silly all the time

parents get offended at me because i see their young daughter goofing off and i come up to her and say, "i see you're perpetuating the sterotype that little girls are goofy"
the funniest time was when the girl protested, saying "i'm not goofy, my brother is"
You don't spend enough time around me and my friends. Middle-aged and still cracking weird jokes and skipping down the street humming "We're off to see the wizard." Also I have been known to wear a costume just for fun - my red crab outfit was a big hit! You need your humor in this world, m'dear.

Dear Lord - I hope not! If so, I am toast! I know what you mean though - there are alot of people on here who take things WAY too seriously. I often think of a line in a Jack Nicholson movie (can't remember which one) where he is sitting in a restaurant with a lady, and he asks her if she wants a drink, and she says "no". He keeps asking her if she's sure, and she finally asks him why he keeps asking her, to which he says :
"To kill the bug that crawled up your *** and died" !
I think there are several people on here that need that drink!
