Why do adult haircuts cost more than a child's haircut?!
Question: Does using two drops more shampoo justify charging $4.00 more? Just wondering...please don't call me cheap...I usually leave about an $8 tip (round it up to $20).

Forget that. why do girl haircuts cost more than girls. I pay 35 dollars to get my hair done.

That is a very good question. You would think that a child's haircut would be more because sometimes it is so hard to keep a child still long enough to get haircut.

Maybe they think a child's hair cut doesn't have to be that good, so they charge lower for a poor service. Likewise, they think a woman's hair is more important to get right than a man's, so it's priced higher.
The truth is, children's hair is more work because the child can't keep still. Some of them positively terrified of haircuts, so you have to deal with a screaming, tearful monster. Children's haircuts should be more expensive.
I think haircuts should be priced according to difficulty of execution. If a woman wants some really complicated layered look, fine, charge her more, but if she just wants the ends trimmed on her long, straight, single-length hair, that should be cheap. If a man wants a pudding-bowl cut or a bald look, that should be cheap, and if he wants a quick trim with the electric razor, a little more expensive, and if he wants a really nice style, it should cost the same as a woman's fancy do.
