Do you feel that celebrities are over paid for the movies they do?!

Question: yes and yes again. the worst part is some of them are so full of themselves. i wish we all would get together as a whole and not contribute to their millions by not going to their movies buying their music etc. i wonder just what kind of jobs they would be qualified to do. tom cruise for instance what could he do besides act, the guy is so over rated. brittney spears what can she do, besides sing oh sorry she can't do that either. anyway love the question.

Yeah.

Yes, considering 90% of the movies today are garbage.

Definitely. Just like pro athletes.

absolutely

yea, cause I can do that

a lot of them yes. There are sooo few actors with talent

Yes very much so....also athletes

heck yeah! and the ones who are barely starting off barely get anything!

no they're underpaid...OF COURSE THEYRE OVERPAYED!

The celebs that make crappy movies...but like Johnny Depp..and Denzel Washington..people that give good performances are not over paid

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! majority of them cant even act!

no not really. They work hard and they deserve the big bucks

Yes. There are 30 year olds working their lifetime to play a piece on an instrument when an actor or singer learns a song or part within 1 month and gets paid millions of dollars. They deserve a bit less I must say.

Yes. I think that some of us work just as hard as they do and we can barely make the ends meet.

Is the Pope Catholic?

heck yeah!!\

and can you believe its something they actually love to do

I think that they are overpaid. Wayy overpaid. I can understand receiving money to act, but it is, after all, an act! Its not real life. I know that its still a talent, but I just think that they shouldn't get paid an exorbitant amount of money for one film, and such. Millions for only one film? Ridiculous

They are only over paid, because people are dumb enough to pay high prices to see their movies

Yes. So are people who play sports.

People who don;t really have a real job and just entertain us seem to make more then the people who actually matter in life.

Teachers, cops, firefighters, paramedics. All underpaid. People who play baseball make millions. People who read some dialogue and do a bit of "acting" make millions.

Doesn't make sense but arguing it is pointless, thats just the world we have created.

No. Considering people pay millions to go to the movies, who should the money go to? The guy in charge of the lighting?

Its supply and demand. People pay for the product, so the money goes to the people that make it.

If people really don't want celebrities to be overpaid, they probably wouldn't go to movies.

Well where else is all the revenue going to? The production company doesn't need the money, there already getting multi-multi millions. I really don't see whats so bad about them getting the money anyway. When you think about it a majority of those people will give lots of that money to a good cause. Of course this isn't for everyone, but still, many actors/actresses do give back.

Yes.

Of course they are

Yes, yes I do. Here are some more for the list:
1) Politicians
2) Athletes
3) Authors
4) Talk show hosts
5) Writers
6) Artists
We have starving kids in the good ole USA and they want to pay these people millions, I think not. How about giving it to some of the soldiers when they come home from the war! They are fighting for our freedom and our lives. This world is all messed up!
