Christmas tacky? Or Christmas traditional?!

Question: Which do you prefer? The traditonal candle in the window, wreaths with a minimal amount of white lights?

Or the blinky, multicolored lights all over with the light up figures and lots of stuff going on?

Also what do you think of the inflatables? I saw an inflatable manger that made me scratch my head.

I have to say that I like both. I love the traditional (blue lights not white at my home) and love the peaceful energy I take in while around that setting.
Then I spend Christmas Day with my friends and they have all the glitz - corny songs , blinking colored lights and reindeer ears or Santa hats. Because of our friendship this now brings a warm, happy feeling as well.

i like the blinky multicolored lights
i love the inflatables!!!!!!

the wreathes and a minimal amount of clear lights. (although I wouldn't call this 'traditional'.)

The more traditional is the blinky multicolored lights all ove rthe place ... a Chevy Chase Christmas.... No, I don't like that anymore.

It used to be a good traditional thing but now i think it is just getting tacky!!

i love the traditional.
especially with snow outside.

hm...sometimes the inflatables can be kind of cute, but i don't know about an inflatable manger...

christmas traditional.
and i can't stand the inflatables.
(if you decorate it's suppose to look nice)
(in my opinion)

Definitely traditional. The simple stuff always looks beautiful.

I like to combine them.

I agree with you on the inflatable manger. Thats pretty stupid.
And I love both the tacky and traditional Christmas so I couldn't decide.

I would prefer the traditional candle in the window a few White lights and a wreath. It looks more elegant. Also I think that those inflatables are horrible. When you do not have power going to them they look like a pile of garbage in your front lawn. Looks really bad.

yes

The multicolored lights with all the light up figures. Especially multicoloured lights on the pine tree out front. It's a more breathtaking sight.
