The easy thing: I want just about any of the Star Wars Novels or Graphic Novel titles. I've been reading through a lot of the books from the Library, so wouldn't mind owning a few. Maybe something by Piers Anthony, ranging from Xanth to Incarnations of Immortality.
The hard stuff: for one, recognition. I return from my tour in The Gulf, and almost nothing. No real celebration by friends or family, let alone a measly article in any paper talking about how a member of the community returned from Iraq (Saudi Arabia), let alone my injuries from my tour. IDK, I just thought coming back alive, would be a big deal, as opposed to not at all, and feel rather disappointed.
