It could be a sign. Maybe call back just to be like Hey sorry about that if you got a call from me before, my dog accidentally speed dialed you. And then from there maybe the conversation will take off, who knows.
The real question is why hadn't you already deleted the number?
I am going to go with a sign, maybe you should at least deal with whatever kept that number in your phone's call list. Everybody needs closure.
