Question: Someone around me just floated an SBD and it's horrendous. Should I out them? I don't feel I should work in an environment where I have to smell other people's butts.

Hey Chiquita! you should, at the very least, request hazardous duty pay and a hazmat suit. Threaten to call OSHA and tell them you are being exposed to hazmat without protection! You may be entitled to further compensation for mental and emotional distress as well.

I pretty much have my own office. It's a big office and across the room is my boyfriends desk, but he's always in a different office.
So I luckily don't have to smell people's butt very often. Sometimes if the guys all gather in the room....but that's not often and only 3 guys.
Call them on it! Just remember when you cut one someone's probably gonna call you!

Why don't you just put a dog turd in their desk drawer when they are not looking.
Lol, I used to work in this office where the woman who sat behind me had gas...constantly. They weren't silent, but she would cough to try to cover them up. It was hilarious, gross but funny. I used to always worry that she would cough something up at me while trying to cover up her flatulence!
Obviously her attempts to cover it up didn't work very well. We all started calling them the cafarts.
Calmly tell them, "you couldn't have eaten anything that smells that bad -- something must've crawled up in you and died!"
If this is a frequent problem, I would go to a army surplus store and get a gas mask. Then whenever it happened put on the gas mask and go stand by their desk directing others away from the hazard zone.
