I think that they are doing good on the "la"s, but the song could definitely use a few more "fa"s to balance everything out.
I think the original words of the song were lost and some fool just filled it in with the Fa la las and the listeners liked it.
But honestly, if ya don't know the words then I don't want to hear it.
