well we started hoovering and not tip-toeing round our kids so they sleep through most things there in bed by 2000hrs we go to bed at 2200hrs so they would sleep through it, but then we are married so sex doesnt happen all that often unless im good :~(

You don't. You just learn to be quite when they are in the house. It can be a fun & 'forbidden' kind of intimacy that is very sultry & . Hearing sex noises can traumatize a child into thinking violence is going on, especially when they hear the mother scream & moan. Sex doesn't stop happening after you have your 1st child and it just kinda comes natural on how to act on behalf of the child/children.

Leave the TV on if you need to. But making love is a part of life and I don't see why kids should be shielded from it if you talk to them and let them know what and why you are doing it will make them less afraid of sex and and they will grow to teenagers with a healthy outlook on life and love :)
put tv on and do it down stairs in the night its more exciting you feel like your being naughty and you should be in bed.
