Another trip down memory lane in cars?!

I remember. And, even old Harleys had chokes. The good ol days.

Yes I probably about 7 too. All my uncles brought their old cars out to our farm, and I used to play in them all day long. :)

The choke was on the dash and so was the starter button. The dimmer switch was on the floor, Some cars and trucks had the starter switch on the floor as well. No automatic transmissions untill late 1940s and early 1950s. No turn signels untill this time. You had to do turn signeling with your arm. And the old 3 cell 6 volt batterys. And 25 cent a gallon gas. No power brakes or window, no power door locks, no power seats, no cruse control, and no power steering, no airconditioning. When you could fix most anything on your car with a small box of tools.
Yes Dad had a 49 or 50 Hudson and I got to pull out the choke when it was cold.
