no, it's usually pretty obvious to everyone - and reward the person looking for attention? doesn't sound right to me. most people who give 'worst answers' do so on purpose
yes there are a worst answer though but you give them a thumbs down it isn't all big like best answer so it sucks

Yes, for those people who just want to be rude. As for points, go with oh_jo123's idea about negative ones and add to it. If Best Answer get 10 points then Worst Answer can get -10 points. Maybe it would cut down on some of the answers that should be counted as spam. Yes, that would apply to me as well, cause everyone can give a dopey answer sometimes.

There's not enough room for a button with a clown picture on it and a slash through (a glyph) it to emphasize the worst in an answer here on YA.
