i do both. depends on the person and the situation. most people want to learn on their own anyway.
Well...when people ask me to share my knowledge than I do share it with pleasure....
I try to educate people on this Q&A site with answers, but don't know if anyone has learned anything yet, but I will continue to keep trying.
Sometimes I find peoples' misfortunes amusing.
Sometimes I help.
I share my knowledge, usually with people who don't want it.
However, it's never stopped me.
