Poll: Stephen King or Dean Koontz?!


Question: Which do you prefer to read?

They are both two of my favorites, but I think I tend to read more Dean Koontz.. Stephen King gets SOOO into describing EVERY angle of a scene, that sometimes it takes longer for the story to pick up and start moving..

well i love Stephen King movies but i agree it takes a long time for it to pick up in his books!!!
Koontz is pretty good!!
I really like James Patterson!!

    i love dean koontz...i have most of his books.
    I like them both too, but I think I am more into King!!! =D
    Stephen King...definitely. He does take awhile to get the story going sometimes...but when he does...I can't put the book down!!

    I agree Ive read most of Koontz's books , been a while , I probably need to catch up on a couple- last one was odd Thomas. I cant really get into king for some reason.

    sorry I have a hard time reading I am dyslexic, but I do Love Stephen Kings Movies...=-)
    Id say King because I like the descriptiveness he gets into...and I like that he has a theme that runs through a great majority of his books ie:Stand, Langoliers, Desolation, Gunslinger series...

    Koontz dont get me wrong is a great author but as I have read his books I recently got mad because he had the exact same situation happen in more than one story....

    I know that being picky especially since it was two books like 20 years apart but it irritated me...

    So King....

    and I hate yahoo...they kill my profile...they kill the story...they are KILLING ME!!!
