Question: Yep. Have one through work, and that was it until we bought a House. Then I upped it cover the cost of the house. Then we had a baby, so I upped it again. Then we sold the 1st house and bought a bigger house, so I added some more. Plus I also have accidental dismemberment insurance. Have to be covered when you grow up. My husband couldn't pay off a house, raise my daughter and pay for a funeral on his salary alone. I guess he could, but they wouldn't have much more than raman noodles and government cheese to eat.
