Does anyone else like rice and gravy?!
Question: I used to trade the mystery meat portion of school lunch for the rice and gravy and it's still one of my favorites...I'm having some now, on this cold and snowy afternoon.

yes, I got hooked on that when I was in basic training. It was the best thing sometimes.

I like it sometimes usually i'm more of a potatoes and gravy person but I do enjoy makin biscuits and sausage gravy for my children when they come home every weekend LOL

Rice and gravy down here in the South is a staple part of the diet. I make a meal out of it with fresh french bread.

I love it and if my mom would make smothered pork chops or smothered baked chicken breast and her bomm@ss cornbread.Man my mom can COOK.Can't wait til Christmas for her food.Since Me and my sister have moved out she only cooks 2 times a year (thanksgiving & christmas).
