Probably the 90's, because a lot of my favourite artists relate to that decade.

anything from 60's-90's. 90's was amazing! So was the 70's. I hate about 96% of today's music, it's complete shitt. There are exceptions.

70s

60s.
Because The Beatles led, and everyone else followed!

Mid-60s through Mid-80s, because most that music means something that happened in my life.

70's and 80's!!!! duh

Non really, I like rock and alot of the earlier stuff is really good but then some of the newer stuffs no worse.

Can I stretch it to 2 decades, 80s and 90s, because it reminds me of my Childhood and early adulthood and a carefree time.

the sixty's
because I was young,

they say if you can remember it you were not there,
this is so not true, I saw the Beatles live (couldn't hear them mind you) it was an explosion of music of all kinds
very different from to day those were the times of my life
you cant take away the the wonder of being young then

Has to be the 60's as we are all fond of the music we grew up with, and I agree with Korky, it isn't true that if you remember it you weren't there! I DO remember it and it was a fantastic decade to grow up in.
With a few exceptions I don't like much from the 90's onwards.

70's..........its just a very unique decade of music.........

6Os, was the age of Music...........Memorable.

Most of todays music is not so good, its more of a repetative derge really.

I like present day best. But I have more of a non-mainstream list of favorites, such as Donna DeLory, Sarah Fimm, Jose Rodriguez and Jude and Jason Mraz. I just love discovering new artists all the time.

Mid to late 50's to 60's. I like the old "Be-Bop" sound.

It's true, the 60's were great with the Beatles, but they carried on singing rock&roll, to their own style.

Before rock&roll, the charts were full of people like Perry Como, so the 50's was the revolution in music, Elvis and the like. John Lennon himself said, "Before Elvis, there was nothing".

Also, you tend to remember the music of your youth, and the 50's spanned my teenage years.

Mid 60s to mid 70s....I really think they shaped music to be what it is today. They did things that were unheard of, very innovative and really changed the way the world thought of music. And I just really like it, I can relate to the songs from then.

Mid 50s to mid 60s. Rock and roll is what i was brought up on and the music that's out now just doesn't compare. I'm 32 so i'm not old. What's your best decade of music.
