Question: Sad, but ironic...look at Virginia Tech. It's a Libs Utopia: Liberal Profs...politically correct campus...NO FIREARMS allowed...etc, etc, etc.
Some people just can't get it through their thick heads that there really ARE evil people out there whom DO NOT CARE about the rules/laws. If they took away firearms, the only people having them would be your government & Criminals. Sometimes I wonder what the difference is. Anywas, a "GUNFREE" Liberal environment didn't stop this crazy bastard from shooting students...pathetic, really. Tragic.

We do have gun control...its just some psychos getting a hold of one and ruining it for the ones who respect the rules
I'm in the middle. I think on one side If we get better gun control we could prevent things like that from happening. On the other side if someone breaks into my house I want to have the right to shoot to kill and not get arrested.
Chicago has very tight gun control laws. Handguns are banned in the city. However, more Chicago Public School kids died this year from shootings than Illinois Soldiers serving in Iraq.
Personally, I'm against gun control, it's one of our rights, to bear arms. And even with gun control laws, criminals and psychos will still be able to get ahold of them if they want them.
He obviously didn't purchase it himself. The owner should be held responsible for not locking it up properly.
Anytime the government takes a 'right' away from us, we'll NEVER see it again. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Sure, take the guns away and you'll see a rise in homicides via ballbats. What's next? Outlawing baseball?
PRO-GUN! If you want to see what happens when a government has all out gun confiscation, look up Australia's crime rates in the last year since they outlawed civilian ownership.
