I don't know..let me check. pause.. I have equal amounts of both, but how do I know the difference? I only answer about 3 or 4 peoples questions though, and a couple of those are in the fans catagory. Your in my contacts. I'm confused.

Fans definitely and personally I find it irritating. When you have true contacts, these are people you can do activities with, are loyal to you, are honest with you, someone you can share your joy and sadness with, counsels you, helps you out but fans are either jealous of you and isolate you because of your gifts and talents or fans sincerely look up to you but don't want to see you for who you really are...just a 'god-like' image of what the ideal human should be. Fans don't sincerely like you either way. So I would love to have more contacts and fewer fans...fans also have a tendency to laugh at you when you fail and expect you to be perfect in every way. You lose so much of your humanity in the process of being looked up to...God knows I lost my job over it!
Oh that's okay, I say I have an equal amount, most of my fans and contacts disappear every month or so, which means I have clean up my page.
