What makes you feel old?!
Question: My son is 18 today. I feel older when my kids have bday's than when I do. I'm not supposed to be the parent of an adult! And his little brother just turned 15...omg I'm ancient!

Join the club, sweetie! I have a daughter who turned 18 in September and my son will be 14 in March. THESE are the things that make me feel old!!!!
I will tell you, though, that once the initial shock of having an adult for a child has worn off, you will get used to it and you may even find yourself enjoying it and relaxing a little bit!! There is something very liberating about know that you are no longer LEGALLY responsible for this person! We haven't completely "cut the cord" though. She still lives at home with us and eats with us when she's not working, but we ARE cutting back with helping her on bills, etc. We still supply her with her "needs" but when it comes to the $75 sweater or $100 pair of jeans she just thinks she has to have -- she's on her own!!!!
Best of luck to you. The wheel of time just keeps on turning, but I heard on a show recently that 50 is the new 30! Hey, that means that for me at 45 -- I'm really on 25!!!! LOL!!!!

cute...I felt old when I went to see Fall Out Boy with my 15 year old daughter. I feel old when I think she'll be driving soon. My brother is going to turn 50 soon - and that makes me feel old. Happy Birthday to your son!
I suppose that could make a person feel old.
But on the bright side, I feel younger when someone my age looks 10 years or more older than myself. (sunscreen is my best friend)
Birthdays just remind you that they are not your little babies anymore but don't worry they still need you . You are as old as you feel . I'm 31 but feel that I am at least 25 .

the fact that my little pony, strawberry shortcake, and care bears are new to the younger generation and retro to me..
