uuummm... that's a tough one, they have both been there for me unconditionally but i would have to say family, blood is thicker than water, even though my true friends are like blood to me, they would be in a VERY close second since the question asks which i would put 1st, why do i gotta choose?
I feel more like myself around my friends so if I had to choose it would be friends

Without a doubt- my family! My son will always come first in my life and then my husband. Why that order? Because my son cannot always take care of himself and my hubby can!!!! There is nothing stronger than a mothers love for her child! I love my friends but sorry- my family is number one and always will be!
This has to be family. That is not to say that I would not do anything in my power to be there for my friends but if there is a conflict in my schedule my daughter would ALWAYS take precedence.

My family. I don't think I was this way until I met someone really special to me and got married, and now he is part of my family. But family is there forever, friends come and go. And some of my friends I consider to be part of my family, so they are different.
