Poll: What is the shortest distance between 2 points?!

Question: Is it a straight line? Or can we bend both time and space to create a warp using existing string theory?

I think we need someone with the basic intelligence of Einstein, perhaps Stephen Hawking, or even the computing ability of a Penfold with his trusty sidekick, Loose Change. Any TD Euwaites not encouraged to apply, poetic license not required, Void were prohibited by law. Restrictions may apply. See microscopic print for full details. Apply within

Oooh Ooooh I know this one. applying the by now familiar but nonetheless famous Einsteins equation a=b+c we can calculate the necessary spacetime manifolds taking into account the effect of all significant massive objects in the vicinity of the two points and also adjusting by a suitable, but as yet undiscovered coefficient of uncertainty to allow for the influence of non baryonic dark matter. Then of course we need to adjust for the baryonic dark matter and then again for coefficient of fwuffyness. The answer is a basic truth that I don't think you guys are ready for yet, but bring me the stuffed lingum of Tyler Durden and I might tell you.

one

i will have 3 please, wrap them!

the shortest distance between two points is under construction...

My brain.

no idea

it has to be one

I consulted "Trajectory" by Dr. Smith and Dr. Wesson. Here's what I found...

I'm going to guess it is a half an inch. Am I right? I'm usually pretty good at these things!

You forgot "Not available at all locations".

I must disagree with the esteemed Professor Penfold on only one small point. It's possible, but I highly doubt dark matter is baryonic. The shortest distance between two points is that created by a space-tearing flop transition event and is proportionate to the width of the 3-brane shielding the stringy boo-boo times the Planck constant (?).

Bush's brain has somehow achieved that status. The area of his brain which controls his motor functions such as speech for example and all his other senses somehow rerouted their pathways directly to the mouth without first passing through the cognitive reasoning areas of the brain. This remarkable discovery finally explains the mystery of his ability to appear cosmetically intelligent while simultaneously displaying a level of incompetence and a fixed smirk that can only be explained by an adverse mental condition.

Neurosurgeons are unaware of any previous cases having been reported throughout all of recorded history. The good news for administration officials is, he can no longer be prosecuted for crimes committed in the white house since doctors now confirm and I quote from his personal doctor "He literally can not distinguish his @ss from a hole in the ground".

The shortest distance between two points is to have them meet at my house...so each only has to go half the distance and I don't have to get up off the sofa.
