Question: Did your parents leave stuff at the bottom of the stairs as a hint hint to take the item upstairs?

Allways, and to counter act them doing that, i put my little brother in the garbage hoping they would get ride of him.

I don't know, I live in a mobile home...but if I could live in a two-story house, they would definitely leave everything downstairs..

yes, always! sometimes i would wake up and go downstairs to go to the bathroom (there was no bathroom upstairs which really sucked) and would be like tripping over the stuff thy left at the bottom of the stairs because i was still half asleep
Yes! I have a room on the top floor of a 3 storey house and my mum always leaves my keys, clothes, bags, shoes, books on the bottom of that flight of stairs! =)
We have all the bedrooms and the laundry on the lower floor with all the living areas on the first floor and recreation areas on the roof.
We throw things down the stairwell. I've gotten real clever at throwing the teatowels from the kitchen down through the stairwell and into the laundry door!
Yeah my mom does that all the time. It's so annoying! I like to keep everything clean, but it's impossible to do that with the stairs!
