Excuse Me Sir or Madam...Isn't the Best Part of Christmas All About....?!

Question: Being Nice?

Answers: Being Nice?

I think the best part is when little kids get a bike or a scooter and are outside at daylight riding the helloutofit. Morning babe. I'm vacuuming again. Gawd.

no.

Watching the faces of my family opening their gifts does it for me.

Yep, goodwill toward man, you know!

It is... but we need to be that way all year long, not just at Christmas.
Morning doll!

Not anymore. Things change. Just like we do here on Answers. (hi)

Yes, I think that it is.

no one is nice this time of year anymore

Amen. Yes it is.

I remember hearing something about peace, and good will toward men, now that you mention it.

Yeah, it is. It's also about giving rather than receiving.

God Bless us all....everyone.... = )

Well yeah,
it's just about all the joy and fun =D
we don't have gifts or anything but we'll visit family, who did their best to make a great day of it =D

But only when you truly feel too, a forced smile is the creepiest thing ever

yes you are right about that you have a great day!

Yea that's what it's suppose to be...but that went out along time ago sadly.

Good Morning!

nope!

Yes, I think it is

Personally, I would say yes. I go out of my way to be kind during this time of year. It's really about commercialism and capitalism though.

Sigh...

Being nice, being thankful, being loving and caring and sharing, best of all... it being Jesus' birthday.*

*Yes sweety that is what it should be about. Then we could expand Christmas to last 365 days a year* "Nice" doesn't cost anything, we don't have to go to the mall to purchase it and everyone can use it*
Excellent question as always*

I think it is supposed to be...but a lot of people don't understand that...

Should be but too often Holiday stressed people are not so nice.

To me it's the one day out of the year we all are what we really want to be all of the time

Absolutely. I wish people would remember that while shopping and driving during the holidays! Sheesh! Yesterday I got to witness a customer being so rude to a clerk at the store and I kindly stepped up next to her (being 5'11" doesn't hurt ...lol) and asked her to calm down. She did after she looked up at me and I just simply said "Where's your Christmas spirit?" That was the end of that!

I saw a quote the other day I quite liked ... it read:

"I wish we could put Christmas spirit in jars and open one each month of the year!"

Wouldn't that be a wonderful thing?

Peace and kindness to you sweet friend!
