miscreant words but laughter
leaps from a kindled light, sorrow
swallows itself in a parched

The "Takers of Space" are not a "recent phenomenom..."
Just ask the dinosaurs...
(Even when they existed...which was "modern times" for them...)

... I'm almost positive that however much "space you take" is in direct correlation with how many cleaning products you own.

Ack! Haven't read the poem so I must go do so now but my first thought, when I saw the term "Takers of Space" are those big, fat women who weigh like 500 lbs. and always wind up sitting next to me in the airplance. They're spilling over, out of their seat into MY personal space and there's no escape because it's assigned seating.
Buk is absolutely right, but it is our responsibility as gentlemen to best our fathers.
