Do you have to go do laundry at the laundry mat?!

Question: my dryer is broken!

Answers: my dryer is broken!

Used to go there too. What a pain dude. I mean, women would just come up to me and ask for change knowing that the change machine was right next to me. You could hang your clothes or something or just ask the neighbor for a favor!
Just this once! hehehe
Would anyone turn you down?

sometimes. it kinda sux

I did when my washer went down. It cost $100 just to replace the cuppler.

ummm i would just get my bf or somethin to do it for me hah me do my own laundry ya right

gosh i could never go to the laundry mat, i have way to much laundry

Nope. But I used to. It's a pain in the butt. You can use my dryer if ya want. :o)

nope but that sucks for you. If you lived here I would offer you to use mine or take ya to my dad's laundry mat and let you use the dryers for free

No....ahh, that sux. Its a pain when something you use so often breaks.*

not in a while...comforter ready to go though.

nope i used to and it sucks

yes, i use my apartment complex's washing machines.

so like yeah like yesterday like i like had to do that so i was like so mad like it's not fun and i like felt so poor like crying

no but i do sometimes when i let it get backed up
so i can get it all done in 2 hours

I do have my own washer and dryer...but i think they were dropped out of a vortex from 1939 they're so friggin old. the dryer takes 2 cycles, so every once in a while i will just go to the laundromat...not the most glamourous ever, but it's a hell of a lot faster than waiting at home!

Don't lug clothes you've washed. They're too heavy. Many laundromats will wash and dry for you, at a cost-per-pound, weighed when you bring them in dry. Take your own bleach and ask empty washer loads be run first with the bleach, to sanitize the machine. Take your own hangers and asked any remaining be returned. Take your own detergent and dryer sheets. You can leave and retrieve later.

Then in your Services section of your local newspaper, find a handyman who'll come determine whether it's a thermostat, belt or heating element gone wrong. Ask if he can order and install one more cheaply than buying one online from the manufacturer and calling him back. Remember to add shipping and handling to your comparative estimates, the wait time for the part to arrive vs. the cost of the laundromat and round trip gas there, while waiting.

Do not do laundry yourself at a laundromat in a bad neighborhood. Laundromats in good neighborhoods are often dependably clean. Take a roll of quarters and a good book or pad and pen. Write a friend a letter.
