10 Pt's for first best answer!?!

Question: I will give 10 points for someone who can help me find a book for my book report. I don't want it to be abusive parents, or Alcoholics, or The Gossip Girl books. I must be school approite, it must be at least 250 pages, it can NOT have a movie about it. Ex: I Know What You Did Last Summer has a movie about it, and so does The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants. I can not be Frankenstien, Dracula, The Wolf Man, The Witch Of BlackBird Pond, Of Mice and Men, The
Pigman, The Outsiders, The Bean Trees, or Night.

Catcher in the Rye

Twilight, by Meyers

the catcher in the rye is a classic and was the most phenomenal book i read all throughout high school.

How about.........Things not seen

How about "Twilight" by Suzanne Meyers? My wife is para-library scientist and has put together a library for Junior High School level readers, and she puts this book at the top of her list of books most likely to interest girls your age.

try a book called WHERE THE RED FERN GROWS

Blindness by Jose Saramago! It's amazing, totally original, no one else will have done it.

Wtf
10 points for the best answer yes sure....who else is gonna get the 10 points?

Do over its a fun book to read its for mainly girls but guyz can read it its approite and theres no movie based on it

ELSEWHERE , most amazing book, its about a girl who dies and tries to cope with her new life in heaven while she watches her parents and family from elsewhere...

OR

extremely loud and incredibly close. this is the most fantastic book ive ever read. Its about a boy whos dad dies in september 11 and he goes on a journey throught NYC to find the lock that matched the key his dad left behind. INcludes lots of pictures, and its beautifully and creatively written... it deserves a good read, even if its not for your book report..

goodluck hun!

Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult Im not sure how many pages it has, but I am pretty sure it is over 250. It is a wonderful book, but kind of sad. And I think it would be good for a high school book report. It is about a high school boy who gets bullied his entire life, and ends up shooting some students. It tells the book from his perspective, and from a girl he was friends with, and from his mother's. It really makes you think about what you say to people, and how it affects them.

Try Danielle Steel ( nick ) it's about her son who is Bi-polar, it's sad but it's a true story and very good.

13 little blue envelopes by Maureen Johnson

Read; Flush by Carl Hiaasen.
Amazing book.

daughters of the moon series

The Bell Jar is very interesting, as well as The Great Gatsby.

They're both easy, fun reads that most language arts teachers appreciate.

A Series of unfortunate events
Stargirl (My personal favorite)

a wrinkle in time by madeline l'engle
i'm guessing you're about 13-16 years old? it was my favorite back then, not too hard to read but thought provoking. would score points with your teach, too.

tell no one by harlan coben (it's a supsense)

Catcher in the Rye is good but has been banned in some schools.

Manhattan Hunt Club by John Saul...very interesting and would make a good report.

Here is a description

The Manhattan Hunt Club
John Saul

The acknowledged master of psychological suspense and heart-stopping terror, New York Times best selling author John Saul invites you to descend to chilling new depths of darkness - and discover a secret, savage world that exists beneath our very feet.
The promising future of New York City college student Jeff Converse has suddenly been shattered by a nightmarish turn of events. Falsely convicted of a brutal crime, Jeff sees his life vanishing before his eyes. But someone has other plans for Jeff, in a far deadlier place than any penitentiary. He finds himself beneath the teeming streets of Manhattan, in a hidden landscape of twisting tunnels and forgotten subterranean chambers. Here, an invisible population of the homeless, the desperate, and the mad have carved out its own shadow society.

But they are not alone. The pitch-dark tunnels and abandoned subway stations are haunted by the unmistakable sounds of predators in search of game. Someone has made this forsaken civilization beneath the city a private killing ground...and the hunt is on.
