In your opinion, have music, cinematic art and popular culture gone straight dow!

Question: I am familiar with the video.

I have found some music that I enjoy. I rarely go to the movies. Too lazy to go to a Broadway show, even though I live not far. Popular culture seems to be only about genitals.

So you decide. My decision is apparent.

yes

For the most part, yes.

what the heck do you mean down the potty?
If you mean down the toilet well I never saw any music go down that way same for cinematic art and what is popular culture?
I toss music advertisements that I'm not interested in into the trash bin, if by cinematic art you mean theatre art that's still around it's not that there be anything wrong with it. The real problem is many people have to have 2 jobs just so they can have a place to stay and pay the rent! My work income is so small that I can't afford my rent. My Pay is under the povertyline so I'm eligible for rental subsidy payments!
Not eligible for unemployment payments because I haven't stayed at one place long enough to qualify! Lack of time is the basic problem because many people have 2 jobs and can't partake of things that interest them! Even I had 2 jobs for awhile! that sure didn't leave time for much!

Well, TD...they're not like they used to be, and they don't teach them as much as they should in schools...but, I think they're trying to get back on track.

I'm OK with some of the oldies being remixed into rappers CDs. I truly liked "Chicago" the movie...I think they're trying to get back to basics.

Don't know if the video clip was supposed to be an object lesson to your question -- I kinda like her butt and her big ol' eyes, so that's art to me. No need to throw me a life preserver.

I find it interesting that the advertising side bar for this question is touting potty traning products.

No. I think people put too many high hopes in uncertain things. Some people are just too picky...

... Of course this does not explain the boom in rap and r&b music popularity...
